Matra Airport Crash Tender, also known as an Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicle, is a specialized fire-fighting and rescue vehicle used at airports. It is specifically designed to respond to aircraft emergencies, including fires, accidents, and other incidents that may occur during takeoff, landing, or while the aircraft is on the ground.

The primary role of an Airport Crash Tender is to provide rapid response and effective firefighting capabilities in the event of an aircraft fire or emergency. These vehicles are equipped with advanced fire suppression systems, including high-capacity water cannons and foam systems, to quickly extinguish fires and cool down aircraft structures. They also carry large quantities of firefighting agents, such as water, foam, and dry chemical powder.

  • Chassis between GVW 15 – 35 Ton, with 4×4, 6×6 or 8×8 drive configuration. Power 200 – 700 HP with automatic transmission.
  • Water tank capacity 3000 – 12000 liters
  • Foam tank capacity of 500 – 1200 liters
  • Fire pump capacity of 2850 – 5300 lpm, driven by PTO.
  • 1600 – 5000 lpm water / foam monitor capacity.
